A single cigarette butt can contaminate 5000 litres of water and being the most littered item in the country and the world, India alone aggregates over 100 billion cigarette butts being dumped every year. Do the math!
PROJECT MALAR
A large volume of flower waste generated daily is improperly disposed and they pollute water bodies causing serious problems blockages and chemical pollution. So, we came up with a solution.
WASTED WARRIOR
Close to 5000 metric tonnes of waste gets discarded in Chennai. While high-value waste is collected by the city’s unsung heroes - “The Kabaadiwalas”, the vast predominance of zero to low-value waste is disposed improperly. Armed with years of research and on-ground experience, we hope to use tech to make it fun and seamless for citizens to recycle and brands to be more sustainable.
